Vintage opal single stone ring set in white gold. This Art Deco era ring is set with a round, white opal is round in shape with orange and blue play of colour. The opal is set high in a classic 1930s ring. It's held in six small claws on a highly engraved mounting. The top and sides of the white gold setting is engraved with a scroll design which is approx 50% of the way around. This slender mounting is slightly wider at the top and tapers a bit at the back centre.
Opal: round cut cabochon, approx 5.2 mm.
Stamped 14K, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat white gold. Also contains the sideways W, the maker's mark for Wood.
