Antique old European cut diamond engagement ring. This is an incredibly elegant ring. Two old cut diamonds are bezel set in a platinum top in a bypass style design. The two diamonds are the same size, with slightly different faceting patterns due to their hand cut nature, both with open culets and shorter lower pavilion facets providing the classic chunkier look we adore in old cut diamonds. The D shaped shank is gold and curves near the diamonds where it's topped in platinum and wraps around the diamonds in a gorgeous swirl. Circa 1910s - 1930, British in origin.

Diamonds: 2, old European cut, approx 3 mm each to total 0.20 carats, J / K colour, VS clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct & PT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold with the very top edge of the bezels in platinum.

Size: UK - M.5; US - 6.5; EU - 16,9. This ring can be sized between H / 4 / 14,8 and R / 8.75 / 18,7. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 5.3 mm wide on the finger by 3.8 mm deep at diamonds, 1.9 mm shank at back centre.
