Vintage 9ct gold safety pin. This simple 9k yellow gold safety pin is made from heavy gauge 1.7 mm rounded wire. This pin is coiled, sprung at one end which allows it to catch in it's clasp and secure the pointed end. Stock pins have a variety of modern uses from being a simple brooch to securing a shawl or scarf (perfect for those winter months!) or, our personal favourite, closing a collar of a men's shirt - perfect for a wedding or event.

Stamped 9ct in an older style stamp along with more modern hallmarks for 2018. The older style stamp would be pre-1950s. Hallmarking laws can require that some retailers are required to submit goods for full, modern hallmarks.
