Antique French cut diamond engagement ring. Four French cut diamonds are set into a tight square shape which has been turned at an angle to create a kite shape on the finger. The diamonds are lined with milgrain beading and set on a yellow band. The band splits and creates a little loop design with an engraved bead below. This is such a wonderful ring! It's unique in the cut of diamonds and we adore the way that they are set. Circa 1910s.

The inside of this ring contains a personal inscription, "15th March 1918 D.B.McG. - M.R.L." The inscription takes up the entire shank.
