Beautifully design antique French enamel pendant. This gold piece is circular in shape, a detailed green ivy leaf to the centre with blue enamel around it, "Ou Je M'Attache Je Meurs" or Where I Get Attached I Die. A terribly sweet and romantic take on To Death Do We Part. Ivy is a common theme in Victorian jewellery because it attaches itself. Framing the edge of the gold disc is an alternating white dot and blue dash pattern. Circa late 19th to early 20th century, French in origin.
French hallmarks to the top of the piece, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.
Measures approx 22.4 mm / 0.88 inches tall including the hallmarked loop but not the articulated bail, by 19 mm / 0.75 inches wide. This is a flat piece, roughly 0.5 mm deep.
Weighs 1.8 grams.
This pendant can be sold with a new 9 carat yellow gold chain, as shown on model, please choose the length you require at checkout.
