Emerald and diamond engagement ring dating to the mid 20th century. This vintage three stone ring is all about the bright green pop from the emerald! The natural emerald is a great colour and is held in place with wide corner claws. Flanking this are smaller bead set diamonds. The diamonds are set in an engraved illusion platinum topped mount, designed to make them appear larger. We think the white of the diamonds adds a beautiful contrast to the green of the emerald. The shoulders are tapered, coming to a point at the edge of the gemstones, and widen to a D shape profile band at the back. Circa mid-1930s to 1940s, British in origin.

Emerald: rectangular step cut with clipped corners. Normal inclusions which are visible to the unaided eye. Measures approx 7.3 mm by 5 mm.

Diamonds: 2, round cut, approx 1.9 mm - 2 mm each and calculated in setting as 0.06 carats together.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the claws in platinum.

Size: UK - N.5; US - 7; EU - 17,25. This ring can be sized between L / 6.5 / 16,5 and Q / 8.25 / 18,25. Sizing available for an additional fee.
