Vintage round brilliant cut diamond engagement ring. This ring is set with a single diamond in four sets of double claw prongs. The sloping platinum topped shoulders are engraved with a pretty and delicate pattern and lead to a narrow D profile yellow gold band. This ring has a classic look but the engraving gives it something a bit different! Circa 1940s, British in origin.

Diamond: round brilliant cut, measures approx 5.35 mm and calculated in setting as 0.51 carat, K colour, SI1 clarity.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. This ring is tested and assessed as mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the tops of the shoulders and claws in platinum.
