Antique diamond eternity band dating to the early 20th century. This is a slender ring with 35 old cut diamonds bead set in white gold. The diamonds are a style of older cut with higher crowns, small tables, and open culets. They are set very close together creating a never-ending row of sparkle. Narrow rails to the top and bottom of the diamonds protects them and provides a flat side so that this ring can be stacked with others. Engraving adorns the sides of this band, worn in keeping with age and wear. This narrow ladies wedding band would be a great addition to a stack or wedding set. We love the idea of this as a 35th birthday gift, a diamond for each year! Circa 1910s.
Diamonds: 35, old cut, approx 0.45 carats as calculated within the limits of the mounting. The diamonds appear white and eye clean to the unaided eye with some inclusions under magnification.
Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat white gold.
Size: UK - Q; US - 8.25; EU - 18,4. This ring has been expertly sized in the past with the addition of two diamonds.
Measures approx 2.4 mm wide by 1.55 mm deep
Weighs 2.35 grams.
