Diamond single stone engagement ring. This classic ring holds a stunning 0.55 carat round brilliant cut in a simple mounting. The eight claws are in white gold with the band in yellow gold. The style of this mounting, including the crown style collet, really allows the diamond to be the star of the show, highlighting it. The gold band is D shape in profile. The claws have been retipped. Dates to the mid to late 20th century.

Diamond: round brilliant, measures approx 5.25 mm and calculated in mounting as 0.55 carats, H / I colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity.

Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat yellow gold.
