Cultured pearl bangle bracelet dating to the mid 20th century. Fifteen white cultured pearls have been fully drilled and strung across the top on a gold wire. This bracelet is oval in shape with yellow gold channels which frames the pearls creating an open work back. This piece is hinged and fastens with a tongue in groove style clasp and has a safety catch on each side of the clasp. Circa 1960s, British in origin.

Cultured pearls: 15 white in colour, each approx 4.5 mm with good lustre.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1961.

Measures approx 6 mm wide. Internal diameter 5.82 cm /2.29 inches by 4.45 cm / 1.75 inches. Internal circumference of 16 cm / 6.3 inches. Fits a small sized wrist.

Weighs 13.65 grams.
