Vintage amethyst heart pendant with a gold crown. The large deep purple amethyst is cut into a heart and faceted on both faces so is can be worn either way. At the top sits a gold British Imperial State Crown, also known at the coronation crown. This is a large piece and it's attached to a medium weight 9 carat gold trace chain which measures 47 cm / 18.5 inches in length. Circa mid 20th century, likely created at the time of Elizabeth II's coronation, British in origin.

Stamped 375 on the chain clasp, and hallmarked for 9 carat gold on the crown. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout.

Measures approx 2.83 cm / 1.11 inches tall including attached bail but not jump ring by 1.63 cm / 0.64 inches wide.

Weighs 5.7 grams.
