Antique sterling silver cuff bracelet dating to the Art Nouveau era. The front section of this bracelet is decorated with a hammered texture. On top is a rose design with a single bee approaching the flower blossoms. The detail is amazing! This bracelet has a squared profile with a flat top and sides. The back side of this piece is plain and overall shape is oval so that the decoration stays on top of the wrist. The closure is a tongue in groove style which makes an audible click. Circa 1900s, likely Continental European.
Marked 800 / 1000 for 800 parts of 1000 silver, slightly different than the modern British of 925.
Measures 16.5 cm / 6.5 inches internal circumference and is 5.85 cm / 2.3 inches by 4.85 cm / 1.92 inches in diameter.
Measures approx 16.5 mm wide at the front and back. Rises 3.6 mm tall off the wrist.
