Art Deco Sterling Silver Fancy Link Chain Necklace, 1920s Hallmarks T-Bar & Dog Clip.Add to Wishlist
Antique fancy link chain crafted in sterling silver. A traditional curb link graduates on each side of this double watch chain, wider in the centre and tapering near the dog clips and t-bar. This chain would have originally been an Albert or watch chain. In the centre of the overall length is a shiny, full hallmarked t-bar. The dog clips are in wonderful working order and the length of chain makes it very easy to wear as a choker, a bracelet or a watch chain. Circa late Art Deco, 1920s, British in origin.
Hallmarked for sterling silver on the t-bar and dog clip, Birmingham assay office, 1921date letter. Additional lion passant for sterling on each of the curb links.
Measures approx 37 cm / 14.5 inches in wearable length, chain graduates from 3.9 mm to 5.4 mm and back again creating a wave like pattern on each side. This is a short choker length necklace and also the perfect length to wear as a double strand bracelet.
Weighs 21.5 grams.
