Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring. A beautiful cornflower blue step cut sapphire is set in corner claws above a halo of diamonds. The four diamonds are set to the north, south, east and west of the sapphire. In the corners are engraved faceted beads giving the impression of additional diamonds in the setting. Pretty leaf shaped split design shoulders are adorned with the same engraving. A yellow gold D shape band pinches in right at the base of the leaves widening to a D shape profile at the back. This ring contains the mark for Bravingtons, a London based maker in business during the 20th century. Circa 1930s, British in origin.

Sapphire: cornflower blue, square shape, step cut. Approx 3mm by 3.05 mm, estimated in setting as 0.12 carats.

Diamonds: 4, single cut, approx 0.05 carats total weight.

Stamped 18ct & PT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold with the diamonds set into a a platinum top.

Size: UK - L; US - 5 3/4; EU - 16 1/4. This ring can be resized between I.5 / 4.75 and R / 8.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.05 mm wide and stands 5.1 mm tall.
