Vintage diamond engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. This stunning ring is set with a 4.2 mm round brilliant cut diamond. The diamond is beautiful and incredibly sparkly! It's held in eight small claws and is framed by leaves giving this engagement ring a floral feel. A beaded design accents the bead set side diamonds. These smaller diamonds slope up the shoulders in a cathedral style and the yellow band is a D shape in profile. Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.
Diamonds: centre round brilliant measuring approx 4.2 mm and calculated as 0.25 carats, G / H colour, VS clarity within the limits of the mounting. 6 smaller diamonds of approx 1.5 mm to total 0.09 carats together for a total of 0.34 carats in this ring.
Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the very top in platinum.
