Antique men's wedding ring dating to the late 19th century. This is a lovely wide 9 carat rose gold wedding band. It's a great, classic look, wide and shiny with a low domed to the exterior, low profile, and softly shaped inside edges. The gold is a warm peachy pink in colour.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Glasgow 1892. There is a maker's mark of R.S in an oval which might be Robert Scott. The Glasgow assay office was open from 1819 to 1964.

Measures approx 4.9 mm wide by 1.1 mm deep. This is a medium width band for a man and on the wide side for a woman.
