Antique sterling silver long guard chain dating to the turn of the 20th century. This super long chain is a slinky curb link in style with each end secured on to a dog clip. This chain doesn't open, as would have been typical for the time period, and it's length allows it to be looped around the neck two to three times. Circa 1890s - 1910s, British in origin.

Hallmarked on the dog clip and with the lion for silver on each curb link. Professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver throughout.

Measures approx 149 cm / 59 inches in total length, which is doubled with both ends secured to a dog clip so that it's unable to be opened. It can be layered by looping it around the neck.
Links are approx 3.8 mm wide.
