Antique French silver locket inset with lapis lazuli. This locket is incredibly detailed. On one side is a lapis cross and on the other is an engraved cherub style figure. Around the edges on both sides are grapes and leaves in high relief. The inside of the locket has room for one photo behind heavy bevel edged glass. We've left the original photo of a gentleman with a bushy mustache intact. Circa early 20th century, French in origin.

Stamped with the French mark for 800 - 900 silver, a slightly different alloy to modern day sterling silver.

Measures approx 2.47 cm / 0.97 inches tall including attached bail but not jump ring by 1.67 cm / 0.66 inches wide.

Weighs 8.3 grams.
