Antique pearl and diamond engagement ring. This Edwardian era ring is set with a creamy white cultured pearl in a golden cup. Graduated rose cut diamonds are bead set in tapered shaped shoulders. The shoulders are lined in very fine milgrain beading. The diamond set sides end in a point leading to a double wire gold shanks. The slender band is in keeping with the delicate nature of the rose cut diamonds and cultured pearl.

Pearl: untested, assumed cultured, approx 7.3 mm in diameter, soft creamy white in colour with good lustre. Secured with post and glue, as is typical, with some of the glue visible on the bottom of the pearl. Peals are a more delicate gemstone. They can be worn daily, though care must be taken.

Diamonds: 8, rose cut.

Stamped 18k. There is also an unidentified hallmark. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold.

Size: UK- P; US - 7.75; EU - 17,9. This ring can be sized between M.5 / 6.5 / 16,9 and Q.5 / 8.5 / 18,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 7.3 mm wide and rises 7.25 mm tall off the finger. 1.55 mm band.

Weighs 2.2 grams.
