Small old mine cut diamond pendant in a buttercup style. This is a wonderful piece! The diamond is an older cut, cut in a cushion shape and with an extremely high fantastic crown and large open culet. It's secured in six small claws within a buttercup style mounting making it look larger. The diamond dates to the 19th century and the mounting is circa 1930s. This is dainty and small piece.

This sweet piece would make an excellent little gift for a friend or daughter. Diamond is birthstone for April.

Diamond: cushion shape, old mine cut measuring approx 2.7 mm by 2.4 mm and calculated as 0.12 carats, G colour, VS clarity within the limits of the mounting.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat white gold.

Measures approx 7.7 mm tall including the bail by 4.3 mm wide.

Weighs 0.2 grams.
