Antique silver long guard chain. This fancy link necklace is formed of alternating flat links which are engraved with a ridged pattern. Connecting each of these larger links are smaller polished linked. One end of this chain connects to a large spring bolt clasp and the other to a large jump ring. This chain is very long, allowing it to be layered and worn looped several times around the neck. Circa turn of the 20th century, 1900, likely German in origin.

Stamped 800 on the terminating jump ring. Tested as 800 silver.

Measures approx 150.5 cm / 59.25 inches long and is approx 5 mm wide.
