Antique diamond engagement ring. A single old mine cut diamond is set into a classic eight claw setting. The diamond is set in white gold on a pinched cathedral style band. The mounting curves away from the diamond elegantly and is D shape in profile. This is a simple and timeless design, perfect for showing off the diamond. Diamond is circa late 1800s and the mounting is circa 1920s - 1930s. Diamonds are not thrown away, but reused, as fashions and styles of mountings change or the mounting simply becomes worn. This is a lovely example of the ability to reuse a diamond or family stone and do just that!

Diamond: old mine cut, approx 3.3 mm to 3.5 mm and calculated in setting as 0.16 carats, I / J colour, SI2/I1 clarity.

Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - K; US - 5 1/4; EU - 50,5. Resizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 4 mm wide by 5.15 mm tall at diamond and 2 mm wide by 1.1 mm deep at band centre of band.

Weighs 2.15 grams.
