Antique diamond drop earrings dating to the Edwardian era. Fan shaped tapered drops are set with rose cut and roughly cut diamonds. These pierced earrings secure with a kidney shaped ear wire. The front of the ear wire are two small diamond shapes, the top set with a diamond. The section between these is articulated. At the bottom is a large flared dangle. Milgrain beading adorns the entire front, dotted between the pierced filigree and around the edges. A single cut diamond in the middle is framed by a four smaller diamonds and engraved sections designed to look as as though there are further diamonds. The work on these earrings is exquisite. Circa 1900, European in origin.
Diamonds: 12 total, 6 on each earring. Largest is approx 1.6 mm and single cut. Others are roughly cut / rose cut.
Faintly stamped, mostly illegible. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold with platinum fronts.
