Diamond drop earrings crafted in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum. These are very sweet! These earrings started their lives as opposite sides of a brooch and we thought they'd make wonderful earrings! The sparkly diamonds are bezel set and lined in a milgrain beaded edge. A concentric circle creates a target style design. The tapered bars at the tops of the drops are slightly narrower at the bottom and designed so that the gold on the back of the bar peeks through at the top when facing forward. The little details and touches like that make antique pieces so special and unique.

We've used the pin component of the brooch to craft antique style ear wires which are articulated where the wires meet the tapered drop. The movement shows these at their best! Circa turn of the 20th century drops, modern conversions.

Diamonds: single cuts, approx 2 mm each to total 0.06 carats, near colourless and eye clean as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Weigh 2.2 grams together, 1.1 grams each.
