Antique 9ct gold safety pin. This simple 9k rose gold safety pin is made from heavy gauge 1.4 mm rounded wire. It's an older style which is sprung at one end to allow it to catch in it's clasp and secure the sharp end. Antique safety pins have a variety of modern uses from being a simple brooch to securing a shawl or scarf (perfect for those winter months!) or, our personal favourite, closing a collar of a shirt. Circa late 19th century, British in origin.

Stamped 9ct, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold. The gold is rosy in hue.
