Antique acorn drop earrings dating to the Victorian era. These yellow gold dangle earrings are designed as puffed, hallow form acorns, each suspended from a single oak leaf. The leaves are beautifully detailed with engraved veins and the cap of the acorn is engraved in a cross-hatch pattern in contrast to the smooth nut. These pierced earrings have a simple kidney shaped ear wire. Circa late 1800s.

Not hallmarked. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat yellow gold.

Measure approx 3.43 cm / 1.35 inches long and are approx 1.16 cm / 0.46 inches wide at widest point.
