Antique 18 carat gold bangle bracelet in a unique design. In the centre is a curb link style design with little beads where they overlap. This design is reminiscent of a keeper style ring. Lining the top and bottom edges is a detailed, twisted rope design. The rope edging faces in opposite directions, just one of the beautiful details on this fantastic piece! The back is very slightly different, having the main sections of the design but no beads where the curbs overlap. The gold is very shiny, a bold look on the wrist. This bangle is oval in shape, helping it stay upright on the wrist, and fastens with an audible click. This bracelet best fits a small wrist.

This piece has been more difficult to date. It's hand shaped and handmade. 15 carat gold was a legal standard in the UK between 1854 and 1931.

Stamped on the side of the clasp, professionally tested and assessed as 15 carat yellow gold.

Measures approx 10.3 mm wide. Measures approx 16 cm / 6.3 inches internal circumference. It fits me where I'd wear a watch with minimal movement up or down, just going over the wrist bone. This bangle would best fit a small wrist.
