Abalone shell earrings in 14k white and yellow gold. A lovely iridescent purplish-grey shell is inset into an engraved reeded frame. In the centre is a small cultured pearl. These were originally gentlemen's studs, an incomplete set, which we've converted to stud earrings. The backside of these earrings now contain a post and secure with medium sized butterfly backs. The iridescent colours flash in the light and make these earrings easy to dress up or down.

The original piece was circa 1920s - 1930s, modern conversion.

Ear scrolls stamped 585 for 14 carat gold, tested and assessed as such throughout.

Measures approx 12.55 mm wide.

Weigh 2.8 grams together.
