1920s Diamond & Sapphire Engagement Ring, Engraved Platinum Art Deco Ring.Add to Wishlist
Vintage diamond engagement ring in hand engraved platinum setting. This ring something else! Set in the centre is a transitional cut diamond in an octagonal frame. In each of the corner is a small lab-created blue sapphire. The hand engraved platinum setting slopes away on all four sides. The slopes are carved with pierced filigree metal work and lined in the finest milgrain beading. Each of these faces is bead set with a single cut diamond. Every surface is intricately hand engraved with foliate, scroll and wheat patterns. This is one of those rings where the gemstones and their mountings come together to form the most perfect work of art. Circa 1920s.
