Vintage coiled snake ring dating to the late 20th century. The serpent wraps around the finger one and a half times. Set into the head is a beautifully coloured ruby with two diamond eyes. The head of the snake is set on it's body so that it's head is lifted slightly from the finger. This allows a band to sit flat to the band section, beneath the snake's head, which is how I've been wearing it for the past week! Circa 1980s, British in origin.

Ruby: red, round cut, approx 3.5 mm.

Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 0.02 carats total weight.

Size: UK - M 1/2; US - 6 1/2; EU - 16 3/4. This ring can be sized down to L / 5.75 and can be made several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in London, date letter for 1988.

Measures approx 11.45 mm wide at head, 3.9 mm tall off the finger, and 2.85 mm band at back.

Weighs 3.15 grams.
