Sapphire and diamond panel ring dating to the Art Deco era. Oval cut sapphires are set in a geometric design in a rectangle shaped dress ring. The largest oval is in the centre, framed by milgrain beading with four oval cut sapphires set on a diagonal around it. Small roughly cut diamonds are bead set between the sapphires. Milgrain beading lines the entire top while the edges dip in slightly around the gemstones. Circa 1920s - 1930s, British in origin.
Sapphires: 5, oval cut. 4 are approx 2.8 mm by 2 mm and 1 is approx 3.65 mm by 2.6 mm.
Diamonds: 6, roughly cut.
Stamped 18ct & PLA. This ring is tested and assessed as mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - L.75; US - 6.25; EU - 16.6. This ring can be sized between I / 4.5 and O / 7.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 11.3 mm by 8 mm and stands 3.45 mm tall off the finger.
