Vintage sapphire and diamond engagement ring dating to the late Art Deco era. This ring is set with a lovely deep blue oval cut sapphire. The sapphire is lined in a row of fine milgrain beading and is framed by a halo of eight single cut diamonds. The outer edges of the setting dip between each of the diamonds giving this ring is lovely flower style shape. The band is two tone with a split style shank in yellow gold. Rising from this is an engraved tapered platinum topped design. This piece dates to the late art deco era, circa 1930s - 1940s and is British in origin.

Sapphire: deep blue in colour, oval cut, approx 4.5 mm by 3 mm.

Diamonds: 8, single cut, approx 0.04 carats total as estimated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct PLAT, professionally tested and assessed as primarily 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - O; US - 7 1/4; EU - 17 1/2. This ring can be sized between L / 5.75 and S / 9.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 9.85 mm wide on the finger and stands 4.6 mm high off the finger.
