Vintage sapphire and diamond engagement ring in a beautiful snowflake style design. A bright blue round cut sapphire is claw set above a halo of six eight cut diamonds with a pierced marquise shape between them. The edges around the diamonds and elliptical shapes are lined in milgrain beading. Dates to the mid 20th century, circa mid 1940s to mid 1960s.

Sapphire: medium blue in colour, round cut, approx 5 mm and estimated in setting as 0.55 carats.

Diamonds: 6, eight cut, approx 0.10 carats total weight.

Not marked, tested as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - N 1/2; US - 7; EU - 17 1/4. This ring can be sized between K / 5.25 and R.5 / 9. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 10.25 mm wide and rises 6.7 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 2.85 grams.
