Lovely Victorian opal converted ring in 9 carat gold. The white opal is set into small and delicate claws. It displays wonderful play of colour with oranges, greens and blues dancing across the surface as the opal is moved. The gold is a rosy yellow in colour as a lot of Victorian gold is and compliments the opal perfectly.

We recently had a few antique and vintage stick pins converted to simple and wearable rings. This is one of them! The pin part of the previous piece has been detached, bent around and lasered to the head of the pin creating a ring which sits low to the finger on a narrow and delicate 1 mm gold band. One of the 12 claws has broken, opal is secure. The opal dates to the late 1800s and the conversion is modern.
