Engraved 10k yellow gold child's ring. This tiny ring is engraved with a floral design and lined with milgrain beading around the exterior. The inside is flat making this ring D shape in profile. There is a maker's mark, G in a circle. Circa Art Deco era, North American in origin.
I like child's rings because they are teeny and cute, just like the children they'd fit! I believe they were used in Christening, naming and other religious ceremonies. I have my own that I wear on a gold chain necklace with other charms. I think it'd be great for a wedding ceremony for a newly blended family.
Size: too small for a ring mandrel. Measures 11.1 mm inside diameter. This is smaller than size A / 0. Not suitable for resizing.
Measures approx 1.45 mm wide by 0.90 mm deep.
Weighs 0.44 grams.
