Diamond solitaire engagement ring. This simple and sweet ring features a 0.20 carat diamond claw set in platinum. The early round brilliant cut diamond is set in six claws above sloping platinum topped shoulders. The setting curves up, from a narrow 18 carat yellow gold D profile band to hold the diamond aloof. Circa mid 1930s to 1950s, British in origin.
