Vintage diamond engagement ring in a classic two tone setting. An early round brilliant cut diamond is set into a square shaped setting. The diamond is held securely in sets of double claw prongs. Set into the shoulders are channel set pairs of single cut diamonds with a small engraved design at each end. The diamonds are set into a 14 carat (tested) white gold top with a yellow gold band. Circa 1940s, North American in origin.
Diamonds: early round brilliant cut measuring approx 4.45 mm and calculated in setting as 0.31 carats, I colour, SI1 clarity. 4 single cut accent diamonds total approx 0.04 carats together.
Not hallmarked, tested as 14 carat gold. This ring has previously been reshanked in a more rosy coloured gold.
Size: UK - P; US - 7 3/4; EU - 18. This ring can be sized between M / 6.25 and Q.5 / 8.5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 5.5 mm wide and stands 6.15 mm tall off the finger.
