Vintage diamond engagement ring dating to the mid 20th century. Nine single cut diamonds are set into a floral style design. The diamonds are bead set into a white gold top. The top is accented with beads to make it glitter more when it catches the light, giving a very sparkly appearance. The eight diamonds around the edges which form the petals are slightly smaller than the centre diamond. The middle diamond is raised, sitting higher above the others. Underneath the setting is beautifully designed, pierced out in the shape of a flower. This ring is set low to the finger. The yellow gold band tapers right at the top near the diamond set top. Circa 1960s, English in origin.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, 1969.
