Vintage 9 carat gold Victorian style book chain. This short chain is crafted from long bar links with a twist design. These bar shapes are linked together in set of two and have smaller jump rings between them. One end of this chain is attached to an oversized spring bolt clasp which can be used to hang pendants, lockets, charms or similar from. The clasp can also be turned to the back for a simpler look. Circa 1970s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in London, date letter for 1977.

Measures approx 39.5 cm / 15.5 inches long by 4.25 mm wide at widest point.
