Vintage large acorn design drop earrings. These early plastic drops are carved into an acorn shape. The caps are lined with a criss cross design. The dangle earrings secure with a simple gold kidney shape ear hook. The hooks are fully hallmarks. Circa 1970s, British in origin.

The hooks may be replacements. The ball top of one of the acorns shows signs of repairs.

Fully hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in London, date letter for 1976.

Measure approx 3.9 cm / 1.54 inches long by 1.38 cm / 0.54 inches wide at widest point.
