Antique sapphire and diamond three stone ring dating to the late Victorian era. This circa 1880s ring is set with three gemstones, a blue oval cut sapphire in the centre with an old mine cut diamond to either side. Each of the gemstones is bead set low into the setting in a diamond shape design. This ring is wider on the top centre with the band gently curving to follow the shape of the gemstones, tapering at the back. Because it low profile it is easy and comfortable to wear. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

Sapphire: oval cut, blue in colour, approx 0.28 carats, estimated as setting permits. The sapphire is set very low the culet touches the top of the finger.

Diamonds: 2, old mine cut, approx 0.14 carats total weight.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Chester, date letter for 1882.

Size: UK - N 3/4; US - 7 1/8; EU - 17.4. This ring can be sized between L / 5.75 and Q / 8.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 7.45 mm wide in front and 2.8 mm tall off the finger, tapers to 2.9 mm wide at back centre
