Antique engraved 9ct yellow gold wedding band. This wide cigar style Victorian ring is engraved with a pattern in alternating columns of a swirling foliate style design and triple x's. The contrast between the soft swirls and the bold x's really draws the eye in. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1883. Maker's stamp of A.M.B, who we believe is Abraham Meyer Blanckensee.

Size: UK - K.5; US - 5 1/2; EU - 16.2. Sizes taken from the leading edge. This is a wide ring and may require a slightly larger ring size than a narrower band. This ring is not recommending for resizing; resizing would disrupt the pattern.
