Antique late Victorian 18 carat gold and diamond buckle ring. This ring is crafted as a wide buckle with two old mine cut diamonds set into the top. A single diamond accents near where the buckle is with a slightly smaller diamond at the end of the belt design. This ring is D shape in profile with a wide heavily domed exterior and flat interior. The back of this ring is plain and unadorned, crafted in 18 carat gold. Buckles in Victorian times were given to express a binding love between the giver and receiver. Fully hallmarked, dated to the turn of the 20th century, 1900.

Diamonds: 2, old mine cut, approx 0.04 carats together.

Hallmarked as 18 carat gold, assayed in Chester, dated for 1900.

Size: UK - P; US - 7 3/4; EU - 18. Sizes taken from the leading edge. This ring is hallow form to keep it lighter and cannot be resized. The back has a small shallow dent which we were unable to capture in photos.

Measures approx 10.05 mm wide at the buckle with the band approx 7.1 mm wide all the way around.

Weighs 4.7 grams.
