Antique bar and ball design bangle bracelet. This bracelet is crafted as a double row of long bars with a ball at either end. Each of the bars is accents with a ridged design in the centre of it. This unique design looks a bit like a bamboo style design to me. The gold is warm in colour, as Victorian gold usually is, and is a pale rosy yellow colour. Victorian, dates to around 1890.

Under magnification two of the little balls show signs of having been repaired. Please see photos.

Not hallmarked. There are faded markings on the inside clasp which are completely illegible, it may have been a fineness or maker's mark. Tested and assessed as 14 / 15 carat gold.

Measures approx 10.3 mm wide. Inside diameter is 5.55 cm / 2.18 inches by 4.83 cm / 1.9 inches. Inside circumference is 16.1 cm / 6.34 inches.

Weighs 13.85 grams.
