Stunning 9 carat gold necklace from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period. This necklace looks amazing when worn! A yellow gold chain connects to round cut amethyst set in crown style claw prongs. A beautiful design curves and swoops, like a ribbon, set with seed pearls. A further large oval amethyst is set in the middle. Three amethyst, pear and round cut dangle on articulated gold wires with leaves set with seed pearls on the branches. Circa 1880s to 1900s.

Amethyst: 2 round measuring 6.1 mm - 6.3 mm and the largest round at the bottom measures 8.55 mm. 1 oval measuring 10.66 mm x 7.5 mm. 2 pears measuring 9.8 mm long.

Seed pearls: 14 measuring 1.3 to 2.25 mm.
