Art Deco diamond and sapphire dress ring. Four gemstones are set into bezel / rub over mountings. The two old European cut diamonds are stacked up the finger, one on top of the other with the sapphires to either side. Each of the gemstones is lined in very fine milgrain beading. Around the outer edge is a scalloped edged frame which follows the overall gemstone setting. This design makes the ring wide across the finger while keeping the gemstones low to the finger and unlikely to snag. The band is a narrow yellow gold split shank design which narrow at the back. Circa 1910s - 1920s, likely British in origin.

Diamonds: 2, old cut, approx 1.95 - 2 mm each for a total of 0.06 carats.

Sapphires: round brilliant cut, blue in colour, some colour zoning visible in one at close range. Each approx 2.6 mm.

Stamped 18c, tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - M 1/2; US - 6 1/2; EU - 17. This ring can be sized between K.5 / 5.5 and P.5 / 8.5. Resizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.05 mm by 12 mm on top and stands 2.75 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 2.2 grams.
