Vintage ruby and diamond engagement ring. Three rubies, graduated in size, are bezel set across the top of the finger with pairs of diamonds set between them. Rubies are always an eye catcher! The red colour of these is gorgeous! Swirls of milgrain beading frames the gemstones which are set into a platinum top with a yellow gold band. Circa 1920s, British in origin.
Rubies: 3, approx 3 mm, 3.5 mm and 3 mm for a total of 0.52 carats as calculated within the limits of the setting. Well matched with slight colour differences visible in good lighting, under magnification.
Diamonds: 4, approx 0.03 carats total.
Size: UK - K 1/4; EU - 5 3/8; EU - 16. This ring cannot be made any smaller. It can be sized several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 4.7mm by 14.1 mm and stands 3.15 mm tall off the finger.
Weighs 1.75 grams.
