Fantastic and fun retro era garnet earrings. The pierced ear wire is connected to a bar which is open on the sides. The gold hoops are threaded through the bar, this design allows the circles to move around. At the bottom of bar is a bezel set round cut pinkish red garnet. Stamped to the back of the bar is a number, presumably a catalogue or patent number. These earrings are articulated at the base of the ear wire, where the garnet is connected, and each hoop moves frees and independently with the ability to spin all the way around. The many joints and freedom of movement looks incredible when worn! Circa 1940s.

Not marked, tested as 9 carat gold.

Measure 3.05 cm / 1.2 inches long and are 1.97 cm / 0.78 inches wide.
