Mid century sapphire and diamond cocktail ring. Set in the centre is a dark blue oval cut sapphire. Twelve petal shapes are bead set with a single eight cut diamond. Each of the petals is outlined in faint milgrain beading. Some petals are set at angles, curving up or down, giving this flower shaped dinner ring a lovely look. The gemstones are set in white gold while the undercarriage and band are 18 carat yellow gold. This is a substantial ring. Circa mid 1940s - mid 1960s.

Sapphire: dark blue, oval cut, approx 7 mm by 4.8 mm and is approx 0.85 carats as calculated in setting.

Diamonds: 12, eight cut, approx 0.15 carats together.

Marked 18ct for 18 carat gold and tested as such.

Size: UK - M; US - 6 1/4; EU - 16 3/4. This ring can be sized down to K / 5.25 and up to O / 7. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 17.1 mm by 15.75 mm and stands 7.9 mm high off the finger.

Weighs 6.3 grams.
