Lovely mid-century yellow gold orchid flower earrings with cultured pearl detail. These earrings are crafted in 18 carat yellow gold and have stunning detail. Each petal of the orchid is textured with the petals folds engraved with a design, giving these flowers life. In the centre of each flower is a little pearl drop. These earrings are screw backs which screw to the ear for non-pierced ears. Circa 1950s, likely European in origin.

Pearls: 2, cultured, approx 2.4 mm wide.

Marked 18 on the back of one earring, tested as 18 carat gold. The wire ears show some tooling marks on the backs and sides which can be seen in the photos and cannot be seen when earrings are being worn.
